Welcome to the Magnolia Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (ACHMM) website. The Magnolia Chapter ACHMM, located in Aiken, South Carolina provides environmental, safety and hazardous materials management professionals in the Aiken-Augusta, Ga. area a way of exchanging ideas, promoting the CHMM certification, professional development and educational opportunities with other ES&H management professionals and the public.

This website, originally created in April 1998, is intended to provide prospective CHMMs, local chapter members, and the public with information about:

• Magnolia Chapter ACHMM meetings and events,
• Membership in the Magnolia Chapter ACHMM,
• Magnolia Chapter ACHMM organization,
• Essentials of Hazardous Materials Management (EHMM) certification educational training events,
• Local chapter personnel contacts, and
• Web links to related internet sources.

Although not a mandatory requirement for membership in the local, Magnolia Chapter ACHMM, the "certification" as a CHMM is the backbone of our organization and the national Academy of CHMMs.
